AIIMS Nagpur Project Research Scientist I Recruitment 2025 Vacancy Details 

Eligibility Criteria

• Essential qualifications: Master's degree in Psychology from a recognised institute (Post Graduate Degree including integrated PG degree)
• Desirable: M.Phil in Clinical Psychology (RCI Registered)
• Desirable: Minimum 1 year of experience in clinical settings or research projects involving mental health assessments or interventions.
• Desirable: Hands-on experience with conducting cognitive or neuropsychological testing.
• Desirable: Familiarity with statistical analysis software, data management/analysis

Salary/Stipend

• Rs. 56000 + HRA @20% Rs. 11,200

Age Limit

• 35 years
• The age relaxation for SC/ST candidates is up to a maximum period of 5 years and for OBC candidate up to a maximum period of 3 years.

Selection Process

• The mode of selection will be through personal interview at AIIMS Nagpur.
• The applicants will be shortlisted based on the educational qualifications/experience etc., The notice for interview along with the list of eligible, shortlisted candidates will be published on AIIMS Nagpur website. A call for interview will be sent to the shortlisted candidates through email.
• In case of more than 15:1 application per post; written test will be conducted to shortlist the candidates for the personal interview.

General Information/Instructions

• All advertised posts are tenure jobs for fixed duration under ICMR funded projects.
• These are not the regular posts under ICMR or AIIMS Nagpur.
• Based on this experience, the selected candidate cannot claim any permanent employment either from ICMR or from AIIMS Nagpur.
• The appointment will be purely on a temporary basis. Duration of first appointment will be for 4 months. The contract will be renewed based on the performance evaluation by the project investigator with the approval of the Director.
• Once the project duration is completed the tenure is automatically over for all the candidates selected for this project.
• The candidate should be able to speak fluently in English, Marathi/Hindi.
• The appointee agrees to fulfil the norms for output in terms of quality and quantity of the work assigned to him/her and if the appointee engaged cannot fulfill the prescribed norms, his/her services will be terminated with notice period of 7 days.
• In case the candidate wishes to resign from the post, he/she should furnish a notice of 30-day period.
• No TA/DA will be provided for attending the interview.
• Apart from the consolidated mentioned salary per month including HRA, the candidate is not admissible for any other allowances.
