Eligibility Criteria
Essential Qualification
- PG Diploma / Degree in Journalism / Mass Media OR
- Graduate with minimum 2 years journalistic experience
Other Mandatory Requirements
- Must reside in the concerned District HQ or within 10 km radius
- Knowledge of Computers & word processing
- Possession of news-gathering devices (camera, recorder, etc.)
Language Proficiency
- Bengali – Proficient (mandatory for all districts)
- Nepali – Mandatory for Darjeeling & Kalimpong districts
- Hindi & English – Working knowledge desirable

- Experience of coverage for electronic media (Radio/TV)
