How to Apply for Allahabad University PhD Admission 2026
The registration period ended on 25 September 2026. For reference, the brochure describes this process:
- Read the Ph.D. Admission Brochure 2026 and check eligibility in Table-5.
- Register online at aupravesh2026.cbtexam.in, or through the official website.
- Fill in the application form for each subject you are applying to.
- Pay the registration fee for each application within the notified schedule.
- Submit the form. Candidates who need to edit permitted fields can use the correction window on 27 and 28 September 2026.
Important Instructions for Candidates
- Correct only permitted fields. Category, social category, email ID, mobile number and type of disability cannot be edited.
- Each subject needs a separate application and fee.
- Submitting an application, appearing in the RAT or appearing in a merit list does not give a right to admission.
- Wrong, incomplete or misleading information can lead to cancellation of candidature at any stage without prior notice.
- Every applicant must declare whether a court has penalised them or any disciplinary or police action is pending. Hiding this can lead to cancellation.
- No TA, DA or accommodation is provided for attending the Research Aptitude Test.
- The university does not send separate communication to individual applicants. Check the portal and website regularly.
- If the Hindi and English versions of the brochure differ, the English version is final.
- The university does not offer Ph.D. programmes through distance or online mode.
