Eligibility Criteria
- Qualification: Post Graduate Degree (M.Sc) or Ph.D with specialization in Genetics & Plant Breeding from ICAR recognized University/Institution. Candidate having knowledge/experience in conducting field trials and data collection. Preference will be given to field experience in the field of Groundnut and Pulses Research and Knowledge of computer.
- Essential Qualification: Post Graduate Degree (M.Sc) or Ph.D with specialization in Genetics & Plant Breeding from ICAR recognized University/Institution.
- Desirable Qualification: Knowledge/experience in conducting field trials and data collection. Preference given to field experience in Groundnut and Pulses Research and Knowledge of computer. He/She should assist and involve in all the Research works entrusted by the Principal Scientist (Pl. Breeding) & Head, RARS, Tirupati.
Salary / Stipend
- Rs.61,000/- + HRA per month for PG Holder with NET (Consolidated)
- Rs.67,000/- + HRA per month for Ph.D Holder (Consolidated)

- The walk-in interview scheduled on 08.01.2026 is postponed to 19-01-2026 at 10.00 A.M due to administrative reasons.
- Desirable candidates are requested to attend with their Resume in the Chamber of Associate Director of Research, Regional Agricultural Research Station, Tirupati along with Original Certificates, Publications, Thesis, Proof of date of birth etc.
- They should submit one set of Photostat copies of the certificates to this office.
- No T.A & D.A will be provided for attending the interview.
- Post is on contractual basis in vacant post of Senior Scientist (Pl. Br) in Groundnut and Scientist (Pl. Br) in Pulses under Non-Plan at Regional Agricultural Research Station, Tirupati.
- Period: From the date of joining to 11 Months.
