ANGRAU Teaching Associate (Agronomy) Recruitment 2026 – Walkin

Acharya N G Ranga Agricultural University (ANGRAU) is recruiting candidates for 2 Teaching Associate posts on a purely temporary and contractual basis. Eligible applicants with a Ph.D, Master's Degree or Bachelor's Degree in the relevant subject can attend the walk-in interview on 23 October 2026 at Agricultural College, Bapatla. Candidates must register their names before 9:30 AM on the walk-in date with a filled-in application, bringing all original certificates and one set of photo copies of all certificates, publications and other relevant documents. The notified pay for the Teaching Associate post is Rs. 61,000 or Rs. 67,000 + HRA per month, with HRA as per State Government rates. The selection process consists of a walk-in interview followed by a medical examination.

Posts and Eligibility

Detailed essential qualifications for the Teaching Associate post include any of the following criteria:

• Ph.D. in the relevant subject
• Master's degree in relevant subject
• Bachelor's Degree of 4/5 years having first division or equivalent overall grade point average
• Experience for at least 3 years of respective teaching/research experience as evidenced from Fellowship / Associate ship / Training / Other engagements
• Published One research paper in Science Citation Index (SCI)/NAAS rated >=4.0 Journals
• Candidates having Post-graduate degree in Basic Sciences with 3 years Bachelor's degree and 2 years Master's degree should have NET qualification

Age Limit

The upper age limit is 40 years for Men and 45 years for Women.

Tenure and Terms

The position of Teaching Associate is purely temporary and contractual on a contractual basis, not exceeding for a period of 11 months. The tenure is 11 months from date of joining/filling of regular post, whichever is earlier.

What Happens on the Day

Important Instructions

• The individual is engaged purely on temporary and contractual basis for a period not exceeding 11 months and will be terminated automatically after completion of 11 months or filling of regular staff by University, whichever is earlier.
• The incumbent shall not have any claim (or) shall have any right to claim for any regular appointment in University / any government organization.
• The incumbent shall not have any claim (or) shall have any right for further continuation of contractual service.
• Concealing of facts or canvassing in any form shall lead to disqualification of the candidature at the time of selection (or) termination even during the contractual engagement period.
• Contractual engagements can be terminated at any time without prior notice or assigning any reason thereof.
• The engaged persons may also leave the contractual service on their own by giving one-month notice, otherwise to be paid one-month salary before leaving.
• No T.A. & D.A. will be given to the candidates appearing for interview.
• The decision of the selection committee for the above post will be final and binding in all respects.
