Candidates who have resigned from an officer-grade position in Bank of Baroda, or exited the Bank while on contract within the last three years as on the cut-off date, are not eligible to apply. One advance increment will be granted to selected candidates who have one year or more of work experience as an Officer in a Scheduled Commercial Bank. The English Language section is qualifying in nature only, and marks scored in it will not count towards the final merit list. There is a penalty of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer. The minimum qualifying marks for GD/PI are 60% for General category and 55% for Reserved category candidates. Candidates must qualify in the Local Language Proficiency Test unless they have studied the local language at the 10th or 12th standard level.

- Candidates can apply for only one state; multiple applications will result in forfeiture of fees for extra registrations.
- No change of category is permitted at any stage after registration of the online application.
- Candidates must possess a valid personal email ID and mobile number, kept active till completion of the recruitment process.
- Candidates are advised to possess or acquire a valid Aadhaar card, as Online Aadhaar verification will be conducted at various stages.
- Biometric data/IRIS scan and photograph will be captured and verified before the online examination, at GD/interview, and at the time of joining.
