All degrees must be from AICTE/UGC approved colleges/institutes or recognized universities, with candidates possessing all years/semester mark sheets and degree certificates; in case of CGPA, a conversion certificate must be attached.
Salary/Stipend
Trainee Engineer-I / Trainee Officer-I will be engaged initially for 2 years, extendable up to a maximum of 1 more year (total 3 years) based on project requirement and individual performance.
Consolidated remuneration: Rs.30,000/- per month for 1st year, Rs.35,000/- per month for 2nd year, and Rs.40,000/- per month for 3rd year in case of extension of contract.
In addition to the above remuneration, a consolidated amount of Rs.12,000/- per year will be paid towards expenses like insurance premium, attire allowance, stitching charges, footwear allowance, etc., in two instalments (first with first month salary after joining, second after completion of 6 months from date of joining).
If selected candidates are posted outside Kotdwara where BEL does not have a Unit/Regional Office/Water Front Support Centre, they will be paid 10% of consolidated remuneration as Area Allowance per month.
Age Limit (as on 01-01-2026)
Upper age limit: Not more than 28 years for General and EWS candidates as on 01.01.2026.
Relaxation: 5 years for SC and ST candidates; 3 years for OBC-NCL candidates.
PwBD candidates with minimum 40% disability or more will get 10 years age relaxation in addition to applicable category relaxation.
SSLC/SSC/ISC Marks Card or any other valid document will be considered as proof of Date of Birth.

Payment is to be made through SBI Collect using the payment link available in BEL website or directly via the specified SBI Collect URL, selecting Bharat Electronics Limited and the appropriate payment category, and entering the required details.
Candidates must save and take a print/screenshot of the payment receipt and attach it with the application form and mention the “SBI Collect Reference Number” in the online application form.

Selection Process
Candidates must pre-register online for the Walk-in selection through the specified link by 15.01.2026; candidates who do not register will not be allowed to participate in the selection process.
Candidates meeting the qualifying criteria and whose online applications are accepted will be provisionally shortlisted for the Written Test scheduled on 25.01.2026 at BEL Kotdwara.
The Written Test will be of 90 minutes duration, comprising 100 questions (Technical and General Aptitude); each correct answer carries 1 mark and each wrong answer carries a negative mark of 0.25.
Minimum qualifying marks in the Written Test: 35% for General/EWS/OBC-NCL candidates and 30% for SC/ST/PwBD candidates.
PwBD candidates are eligible for compensatory time of 20 minutes per hour in the Written Test as per the notification.
The result of the Written Test will be uploaded on BEL website and candidates qualifying in the Written Test will be called for Document Verification based on merit.

Only Indian nationals can apply for these posts and postings will be done based on company requirements, including deployment to other projects/outstation sites as per work exigencies.
