This allows applications for marks verification and re-evaluation following the 2026 board exams, which used the new On-Screen Marking (OSM) system. Why the Delay in CBSE Revaluation Portal 2026?
CBSE originally planned to open the portal on May 29, then shifted it to June 1 to ensure a smooth, glitch-free experience. It went live on June 2 after addressing technical glitches and security concerns related to the OSM system. The board strengthened protocols after high traffic and scanning issues affected thousands of answer books. An IIT expert team assisted in fixes, including rescanning over 68,000 books.

The launch faced multiple postponements due to technical challenges with the new On-Screen Marking (OSM) system. Students reported issues like blurred images, missing pages, and login problems during earlier phases. Security concerns also arose around data handling by the vendor.
