Who Can Apply
Candidates must fulfill the essential qualifications specified for the respective post:
- For JRF: M.Sc. in Environmental Sciences / Atmospheric Sciences with a minimum of 55% marks and NET/GATE Examination Qualified.
- For SRF: Qualification prescribed for JRF with two years of research experience.
- Desirable Qualification: The candidate having in-depth knowledge of aerosol measurement techniques and data analysis using MATLAB, Python or similar software / languages will be given preference. For SRF: Publication of at least one paper in a peer reviewed SCI indexed journal in the relevant field.
Pay and Tenure
The post will be filled up purely on contract basis for one year or completion of the project whichever is earlier. Candidates will have no right to claim any regular appointment. The consolidated monthly fellowship is JRF: Rs. 37,000 + 8% HRA and SRF: Rs. 42,000 + 8% HRA.

Selection and Interview
The candidate will be shortlisted for the interview based on merit and will be informed via e-mail.
