Eligibility Criteria
- Essential Qualification: Qualified Chartered Accountant / Cost Accountant / MBA (Finance) / MBA (Power Management)
- For Sr. Research Officer (Fin.): Minimum 8 years post-qualification experience in regulated sector in tariff determination, financial modelling, cost analysis, annual accounts analysis, etc.
- For Research Officer (Fin.): Minimum 4 years post-qualification experience in the same areas
- Proven ability to perform tariff computations independently and provide analytical inputs
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, foreign exchange regulations and taxation matters
- Desirable:
- Experience in economic analysis and statistical techniques related to power sector
- Engineering qualification is an added advantage
- Relaxation in essential qualifications/experience can be considered in deserving cases
Salary/Stipend
- Sr. Research Officer (Finance): ₹94,000 – ₹1,25,000/- per month (consolidated)
- Research Officer (Finance): ₹64,000 – ₹1,10,000/- per month (consolidated)
- Monthly fee excluding GST (if applicable)
- Consolidated salary fixed based on average salary drawn in last 3 months of previous employment
- Performance-related variable pay up to 40% of monthly fee admissible
- Annual escalation up to 10% possible based on performance
Age Limit (as on 01-01-2025)
- The age of the applicant as on 1st January of the year of advertisement (i.e., 01-01-2025) shall be in accordance with CERC (Appointment of Consultants) Regulations, 2008 and amendments thereafter.
