Eligibility Criteria

• Post Code 01 – Radiotherapy Technician
  • B.Sc in Radiotherapy or equivalent from a recognized University or Institute approved by AERB with 02 years’ experience; OR
  • Diploma in Radiotherapy Technology or equivalent from a recognized Institution approved by AERB with 03 years’ experience.
• Post Code 02 – Physiotherapist
  • 10+2 in Science with Bachelor’s Degree in Physiotherapy from a recognized Institute/University; and
  • 02 years of certified experience in a 50 bedded Hospital/Medical Institution/Rehabilitation Centre (Rehabilitation of Cancer Patients).
• Post Code 03 – Pharmacy Assistant
  • Graduate with Typing Speed (English) of 30 WPM on Computer.
  • Having knowledge of operating computer applications (MS Word, MS Excel etc.).
  • Candidates having experience in working in a pharmacy of a recognized hospital will be preferred.
• Post Code 04 – Data Entry Operator
  • Graduate with Typing Speed (English) of 30 WPM on Computer.
  • Having knowledge of operating computer applications (MS Word, MS Excel etc.).
• Post Code 05 – Patient Care Attendant
  • Class 10th Pass with GDA course (minimum 6 months) or equivalent from any Central/State recognized Institute.
• General Eligibility Conditions
  • All qualifications acquired must be recognized in law.
  • Qualifications and experience of candidates must be relevant to the position applied for.
  • Age and experience requirements shall be reckoned as on the closing date of the advertisement.
  • No vigilance or disciplinary case should have been contemplated, initiated, pending, or taken against the candidate on the date of application, and the candidate should not have been convicted by any Court of Law.

Salary/Stipend

• Radiotherapy Technician: Consolidated Pay of Rs. 25,000/- per month.
• Physiotherapist: Consolidated Pay of Rs. 33,000/- per month.
• Pharmacy Assistant: Consolidated Pay of Rs. 21,000/- per month.
• Data Entry Operator: Consolidated Pay of Rs. 17,498/- per month.
• Patient Care Attendant: Consolidated Pay of Rs. 17,498/- per month.
• Salary will be paid through the Outsourcing Agency. PF, ESIC and other statutory benefits will also be paid, as applicable.

Age Limit (as on 30-01-2026)

• Radiotherapy Technician (Post Code 01): Maximum age 30 years.
• Physiotherapist (Post Code 02): Maximum age 30 years.
• Pharmacy Assistant (Post Code 03): Maximum age 30 years.
• Data Entry Operator (Post Code 04): Maximum age 27 years.
• Patient Care Attendant (Post Code 05): Maximum age 27 years.
• Age and experience requirements are reckoned as on the closing date of the advertisement.
• Relaxation of age equivalent to the years of experience after essential criteria will be given to candidates having higher experience.

Selection Process

• All recruitment shall be done on the recommendations of duly constituted Screening Committee and Selection Committees.
• The Director, CNCI will be the Competent Authority to finalize the engagement of the applicant.
• The Institute reserves the right to restrict candidates called for the selection process to a reasonable number based on relevant criteria higher than the minimum prescribed.
• Issuance of any letter or communication for attending the selection process will not confer any right of engagement with the Institute.
• In case of any inadvertent error in the process of selection, the Institute reserves the right to withdraw, cancel, or modify any communication made to the candidate.

General Information/Instructions

• CNCI is an Autonomous Body under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India, with campuses at Kolkata.
• The posts are purely contractual, to be filled through a Manpower Outsourcing Agency (M/s. Debayan Konar). Selected candidates will be on board through the outsourcing agency only and will have no claim for regular employment at the Institute.
• The Institute reserves the right not to fill any, some or all the advertised positions; cancel the advertisement in whole or in part; extend the closing date; or modify the recruitment process without assigning reasons.
• Mere fulfillment of qualifications and experience does not entitle a candidate to be shortlisted.
• No vigilance or disciplinary case should have been contemplated, initiated, pending, or taken against the candidate; candidates should not have faced action by any law enforcement agency or been convicted by any Court of Law.
• If a candidate is found ineligible at any stage, his/her candidature will be cancelled and, if selected, engagement may be withdrawn without any compensation.
• Suppressing information or submitting false or misleading information may lead to disqualification.
• Applicants called for further selection process will not be entitled to payment of TA/DA.
• Disputes, if any, shall be subject to the jurisdiction of competent courts of Kolkata.
