Eligibility Criteria for CLRI Project Associate, JRF 2025

Educational Qualification

• Project Associate-I: M.Sc/B.E/B.Tech/MCA/MBA/M.Des as per post (see notification for specialties)
• Project Associate-II: M.Sc/Zoology/M.Tech Biotechnology + 2 yrs research exp and publication
• Senior Project Associate: M.V.Sc.
• JRF: M.Sc/M.Tech Biotechnology with GATE/NET

Salary/Stipend

• Project Associate-I: Rs.25,000 + HRA/month (Rs.31,000 + HRA/month for NET/GATE/CSIR-qualified)
• Project Associate-II: Rs.28,000 + HRA/month
• Senior Project Associate: Rs.42,000 + HRA/month
• JRF: Rs.37,000 + HRA/month

Age Limit

• Maximum Age: 28 years (JRF), 35 years (Project Associate), 32 years (some Project Associate posts), 40 years (Senior Project Associate)
• Age Relaxation: SC/ST/OBC/PwBD/Women: Up to 5 years as per government rules
• Age calculation date: As of the date of Written Test/Interview

• Written Test (MCQ, Graduation level & General subjects) – 50 marks – 22/12/2025
• Personal Interview (for Written Test qualified only) – 23/12/2025
• NET/GATE/CSIR-qualified candidates may directly attend Interview
