Central Sanskrit University (CSU), Mukta Swadhyaya Peetham (MSP) has released the CSU Recruitment 2026 notification for 16 contractual positions including 10 Academic posts (Assistant Professors and Language Teachers in various Shastric disciplines, Sanskrit Journalism and Teaching) and 6 ICT/Technical Staff posts (Technical Managers, Technical Assistants and Sr. Consultant–Studio Expert) under Advertisement No. 02/2025-2026 for the Sringeri Campus in Karnataka.
These temporary, project-oriented roles are offered on a purely contractual basis for candidates with Acharya/M.A. (Sanskrit), NET/Ph.D., specialized Sanskrit teacher training, and relevant IT/ICT qualifications such as MCA, B.Tech/B.E, M.Sc./B.Sc. (CS/IT) or PG Diploma, along with experience in ODL/e-learning, LMS, data management, multimedia and Sanskrit-based academic work.

CSU Recruitment 2026 - Eligibility Criteria
For Assistant Professors (Shastric Subjects)
- Acharya / M.A. (Sanskrit) or equivalent with minimum 55% marks
- NET / Ph.D. as per UGC Regulations (or thesis submitted candidates may apply)
- Ability to teach/write/present in Sanskrit medium (to be demonstrated in interview)
For Sanskrit Journalism & Media
- Post-Graduation in Sanskrit + NET/Ph.D. + strong communication & media skills in Sanskrit
For Language Teacher (Sarala Manaka Sanskrit)
- Graduation in Sanskrit (min. 55%) + Shiksha-Shastri / NFSE / CSL Teachers’ Training
For Technical / ICT Posts
- Relevant MCA/B.Tech/B.E./M.Sc. (CS/IT) or equivalent + prescribed experience (details in table above)
- Working knowledge of Sanskrit & ODL tools is desirable for all posts
