Documents Required for DDA Document Verification 2026
Carrying the correct documents — both originals and self-attested photocopies — is mandatory for attending the DDA document verification. Missing even one required document can lead to rejection of candidature with no second chance.
Candidates must bring the following documents in original along with one set of self-attested photocopies:
- System-generated application printout with the candidate's scanned photograph and signature
- Fee payment receipt as proof of fee deposited (as applicable)
- Secondary School Examination certificate and marksheet indicating date of birth
- Category certificate (SC/ST/OBC/EWS/Ex-Servicemen), if applicable, issued by the competent authority in the format prescribed in the recruitment notification
- OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) certificate and EWS certificate must be dated between 01 April 2025 and 05 November 2025 (both dates inclusive)
- Employment certificate, if currently employed with DDA or any other organisation. Candidates in government departments, PSUs, or autonomous bodies must bring a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their employer at the time of joining, if offered an appointment
- Disability certificate (showing type and percentage of disability), if applicable, issued by the competent authority as per the specimen available on DDA's website
- At least two valid identity proofs such as Aadhaar Card, Voter ID, Passport, or Driving Licence
- Aadhaar Card - or the Aadhaar registration slip if the card has not been issued yet
- All other documents as specified in the recruitment advertisement and/or call letter
- Two recent passport-size photographs (not more than one month old)
Important: Failure to produce any required document in the original (along with self-attested copies) will result in the candidate not being admitted for DV, with no further opportunity granted under any circumstances.
Important Rules and Notes for DDA DV 2026

Attendance and Date Rules

- Degrees from unrecognised institutions may lead to rejection of candidature even after final selection.
Ban on Mobile Phones
- Mobile phones and all other communication devices are strictly banned within the document verification hall/premises. Candidates must not bring any such devices.
Canvassing Prohibition
- Canvassing in any form, directly or on behalf of a candidate, will lead to immediate disqualification from the post.
