Delhi High Court JJA Eligibility Criteria 2026
Educational Qualification: Candidates must be graduates from a recognized university and possess a typing speed of not less than 35 words per minute on computer. Only candidates who meet the essential qualifications as on 23 February 2026 should apply.
Salary/Stipend
- Classification: Group-B Post
- Pay Level: 6th Level of Pay Matrix of 7th CPC (Central Pay Commission)
- Salary Structure: As per Government of India norms for 6th Level of Pay Matrix
Age Limit (as on 01/01/2026)
- Minimum Age: 18 years (born not later than 01/01/2008)
- Maximum Age: 32 years (born not earlier than 02/01/1994)
Permissible age relaxation over the upper age limit:
- SC/ST: 5 years
- OBC-NCL: 3 years
- PwBD (General/EWS): 10 years
- PwBD (OBC): 13 years
- PwBD (SC/ST): 15 years
- Ex-Servicemen: As per rules (relaxation after deducting military service; up to 45 years for disabled defence personnel and 50 years for SC/ST disabled defence personnel).
- No upper age limit for persons in regular service in Delhi High Court, subject to educational qualifications (not applicable to other departments/PSUs/courts).
Reservation Details for Delhi High Court JJA 2026
- Reservation is provided as per Government of NCT of Delhi/DOP&T, Government of India instructions. The following categories receive reservation in direct recruitment:
- Scheduled Castes (SC): 15%
- Scheduled Tribes (ST): 7.5%
- Other Backward Classes (OBC-NCL): 27%
- Economically Weaker Section (EWS): 10%
- Persons with Benchmark Disability (PwBD): 4% (horizontal).
- OBC reservation is only available to candidates having valid OBC and Non-Creamy Layer certificates issued by the competent authority of Government of NCT of Delhi for castes recognized as OBC in Delhi. EWS candidates must possess valid Income and Asset Certificates in the prescribed format as on the last date of application.

Correction Window for Delhi High Court Junior Judicial Assistant/Restorer Application Form
After the last date of online application, a correction window will be open till 27 February 2026 up to 8:00 PM. Candidates who have successfully submitted their complete application with fee can correct/modify their application up to two times during this window by paying correction charges.
- First correction submission: Rs. 1200
- Second correction submission: Rs. 500
- Correction charges are uniform for all candidates and non-refundable.
The latest modified application will be treated as final, and no changes will be allowed after the correction window closes.
