Eligibility Criteria
- The applicant must be a permanent resident of West Bengal and must have knowledge of local languages.
- Block Data Manager: Graduate from any recognized university and must have completed at least 1 year Diploma course in Computer Application from Government Registered Institution.
- Block Data Manager: Working knowledge of computer with operating knowledge of MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Access and Internet.
- Block Data Manager: Minimum 3 years’ experience in Government sector or 5 years’ experience in Private sector in data recording and data analysis.
- Specialist Medical Officer: MBBS from any Medical College with PG Degree/PG Diploma in concerned speciality.
- Specialist Medical Officer: Must have WBMC registration certificate.
- All essential qualifications must be completed on or before the date of advertisement and cut off date of experience, if any, will be treated as the date of advertisement.
Age Limit (as on 01-01-2025)
- Block Data Manager: Minimum 21 years and maximum 40 years as on 1st January 2025.
- Specialist Medical Officer: Upper age limit 67 years or less.
- Age relaxation will be as per Government norms for reserved categories, subject to valid certificates of West Bengal.
Application Fee
- Application fee of Rs. 100/- for Unreserved categories.
- Application fee of Rs. 50/- for Reserved categories.
- Fees have to be paid online.
- The application fee amount is non-refundable.
Salary/Stipend
- Block Data Manager under XV FC-HG: Monthly consolidated remuneration of Rs. 22,000/- per month.
- Specialist Medical Officer under XV FC-HG at Polyclinic: Rs. 3,000/- per day, thrice a week, on part time basis.
Selection Process
- Candidates who are found eligible during the evaluation of online recruitment data duly filled by the candidates will be called for documents verification.
- The essential qualifications mentioned are minimum and mere possession of the same does not entitle candidates to claim selection.
- If aggregate marks after final selection are equal, preference will be given to the candidate who is senior in age as on the first date of the year of publication of the advertisement.
- The decision of the District Level Selection Committee (DLSC) Paschim Bardhaman is final at every step of the recruitment process.
- The panel of candidates will be valid for one year from the date of approval; vacancies arising due to non-joining, resignation, termination, retirement or other causes may be filled from the panel within the validity period.

- The applicant must be permanent resident of West Bengal and must have knowledge of local languages.
- The number of vacancies may be changed or the recruitment process may be cancelled at any level as per decision of the District Level Selection Committee.
- Passport, Voter ID Card or Aadhaar Card will only be accepted as photo cum address proof.
- Age proof certificate such as Birth Certificate, admit card or school leaving certificate issued by West Bengal Board of Secondary Education or similar board will only be treated as valid proof of age.
- Caste category certificate must clearly mention the caste category; otherwise the candidate will be treated as Unreserved.
- All candidates applying under EWS/SC/ST/OBC(A)/OBC(B) must submit valid certificates issued by competent authorities of West Bengal, as per applicable Government orders.
- Only certificates issued in the State of West Bengal will be accepted for reservation benefits.
