Monthly Stipend: ₹25,000 (Consolidated).
Tenure: Temporary for 2 years or until the project concludes, whichever is earlier.
Upper Age Limit: 28 years (as of April 22, 2026).
Relaxations: 5 years for SC/ST, Women, and PWD; 3 years for OBC (NC) and EBW candidates.

Eligibility Criteria
Essential Qualifications:
- M.Sc. in Physics, Applied Physics, Photonics, or Electronics.
- OR M.Tech in any discipline.
Desirable Experience: Working knowledge or project experience in Image Processing, deep learning, and optical instrumentation.
Selection Process
- Shortlisting: Candidates will be shortlisted based on their suitability for the project. If there are many applicants, the Principal Investigator may raise the selection bar beyond the minimum qualifications.
- Interview Mode: Can be "in-person" or via "video conferencing" as determined by the institute.
- Notification: Shortlisted candidates will be informed individually via email.
- Note: No TA/DA will be provided for attending the interview.
