Eligibility Criteria
Only Indian Nationals are eligible to apply.
Full time Graduation in the above-mentioned streams/fields/trades/branches/disciplines recognized by AICTE/UGC.
Candidates must have passed the qualifying degree on or after 01/04/2024.
Candidates should not have completed or be undergoing apprenticeship training in any other organization.
Candidates who have already completed their apprenticeship, terminated their apprenticeship mid-way, or are pursuing apprenticeship with other organizations are not eligible.
Salary/Stipend
Monthly stipend of ₹15,000/- (Consolidated) per month for all apprenticeship positions.
Stipend breakup: ₹10,500/- per month by EdCIL and ₹4,500/- per month through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) under NATS.
Age Limit (as on 19-01-2026)
Minimum age: 18 years as on 19/01/2026.
Maximum age: 25 years as on 19/01/2026.
Age relaxation: 5 years for SC/ST candidates, 3 years for OBC (NCL) candidates, and 10 years for PwBD categories.

Selection Process
Selection will be through Online Interview.
Reservation for SC/ST & OBC candidates will be as per the rules.
In case of non-availability of candidates in reserved categories, vacancies will be filled from other Reserved/Unreserved Categories.
If the number of candidates is higher than five times the number of vacancies, shortlisting for interview will be based on final percentage marks obtained in the degree.
Final selection will be based on academic performance in degree (80%) and performance in interview (20%).

EdCIL (India) Limited has no obligation to provide regular employment to Apprentices at any point of time.
During the period of apprenticeship, candidates will be governed by the Apprentices Act, 1961 and the policies/rules of the organization.
The decision of Management will be final and binding on all matters including eligibility, acceptance/rejection of applications, mode of selection, and cancellation of the selection process.
Filling up of the seats is solely at the discretion of the management based on suitability of candidates; no claim will arise if some seats are not filled due to unsuitability/insufficient number of candidates.
The performance of selected apprentices will be reviewed every 3 months and award of apprenticeship certificate will be subject to satisfactory performance.
