Eligibility Criteria
Senior Resident (Under Residency Scheme)
- Post Graduate Degree or Diploma in concerned specialty from recognized university, registered with Delhi Medical Council or Medical Council of India or State Medical Council.
- If PG Degree/Diploma not available, MBBS with two years experience (out of which 1 year in concerned specialty from government/private hospital, not private clinic) may be appointed for 1 year on contract.
- In super-specialty departments, if no MCh/DM available, candidates from parent broad specialty considered as per NMC guidelines.
Full Time Contractual Specialist
- MBBS with Post Graduate Degree/Diploma in concerned specialty from recognized university with 3 years experience after Post Graduate Degree or 5 years after Post Graduate Diploma.
- Registered with Delhi Medical Council or Medical Council of India or State Medical Council.
Salary/ Stipend
- Senior Resident (Under 3 Year Residency Scheme): Rs. 67,700/- per month (Level-11 of 7th CPC) + other allowances (Rs. 1,350/- deduction if only Diploma possessed).
- Non-PG Senior Resident (one-year contract): Rs. 1,48,669/- consolidated per month.
- Full Time Contractual Specialist (Junior - Level 11, 3 years post PG exp): Rs. 1,48,669/- consolidated per month.
- Full Time Contractual Specialist (Senior - Level 12, 5 years post PG exp): Rs. 1,73,045/- consolidated per month.
Age Limit (as on 30 January 2026)
- Senior Resident: Not exceeding 45 years (relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/PWD as per rules).
- Full Time Contractual Specialist: Not exceeding 69 years on date of interview.

Mode of Payment: Demand Draft in favour of 'ESI Fund A/c no. 01' payable at 'New Delhi'

General Information / Instructions
- Posts are purely contractual with no claim for regularization/absorption in ESIC.
- Private practice of any kind not allowed for full time contractual engagements.
- Canvassing in any form leads to disqualification.
- Candidates in service must submit No Objection Certificate from employer.
- No TA/DA admissible for attending interview or joining.
- Selected candidates to deposit Rs. 10,000/- (refundable after completion of tenure) at joining.
- Selected candidates to sign agreement on Rs. 100/- non-judicial stamp paper at joining (cost borne by candidate).
- No hostel accommodation/quarters/uniform provided.
- Vacancies subject to change at discretion of Medical Superintendent.
- Absence of 15 days without permission amounts to abandonment of engagement.
- If candidate resigns within 6 months, experience certificate not issued.
How to Apply
- Attend walk-in interview on 30 January 2026 between 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at ESIC Hospital, Okhla, New Delhi.
- Submit pre-filled Annexure A (Bio-Data), Annexure B (Educational & Experience Details), Annexure C (Self Declaration) on the day of interview.
- Bring attested photocopies and originals of required documents: Matriculation certificate, proof of age, caste certificate, MBBS/Diploma/Degree certificates, attempt certificates, valid DMC/MCI/State Registration, experience certificates, two recent passport size photographs, proof of residence.
- Bring Demand Draft for application fee (if applicable) in favour of 'ESI Fund A/c no. 01' payable at New Delhi.
- Bring one set of self-attested photocopies of identity proof, address proof, date of birth proof, educational certificates, registration certificate, internship certificate, category certificate (OBC/SC/ST/EWS/PH), etc.
