Qualification: As per NMC guidelines (for the posts against Sl No. 1 - 21) as stipulated in Gazette Notification No. CG-DL-E-05072025-264399 dated 30.06.2025.
For Sl No. 22 – 25, candidates having the Master Degree/ Diploma in concerned departments/ unit (desirable). However, MBBS candidates with experience of Minimum 03 years working in concerned departments/ unit may also apply.
Experience: The academic qualification, teaching and research experience will be as per latest guidelines of NMC.
Salary/ Stipend
Fixed Basic Pay of Rs. 67,700/- (Level 11) + Other Allowances* 139462
Other Allowances include NPA, DA, HRA, TA & DA on TA.
Age Limit
For Senior Resident: Not exceeding 45 years as on the date of Document verification & Interview.

Selection Process
Based on the interview, Merit List of selected candidates will be prepared.
General Information / Instructions
1. The recruitments will be purely on contractual basis and selected candidates will have no claim for regularization of the service in the hospital.
2. Private practices of any kind will not be allowed for full time contractual engagements.
3. ESI Corporation may increase or decrease or cancel filling up of any or all the post without assigning any reasons at the discretion of the Appointing Authority.
4. No TA/DA will be paid to the candidates for appearing in the interview.
5. Canvassing in any form shall be disqualification.
6. Hostel accommodation/ quarters will not be provided.
7. The posts are contractual and the contractual engagement may be terminated/ discontinued by either side giving one-month prior notice to this effect without assigning any reason.
8. The decision of the Selection Board will be final on all aspects of selection and no further correspondence will be entertained under any circumstances.
9. In case of non-availability of the candidates of appropriate category, candidates from other category can be considered for appointment on contractual basis for period of less than 45 days against reserved posts for SC, ST & OBC as per order No.36036/3/2018 Estt. (Res.) dated 15.05.2018 of Govt. of India. The contract will be renewable with further advertisement in absence of reserved candidates.
10. The Selection is subject to the candidates proving their medical fitness.
11. In case of selection, OFFER OF APPOINTMENT will be issued as per requirement.
12. The selected candidates will have to furnish a DD/Bankers Cheque for an amount of Rs. 30,000/-(Rupees Thirty Thousand only) drawn in favour of “ESI Fund Account No. 1” payable at Guwahati, towards security deposit.
13. If the selected candidate resigns/terminates his/her contract within 09 months of commencement of the contract with or without prior notice, the amount of Rs. 30,000/- deposited as security money will be forfeited.
14. No Private practice is allowed during the tenure of service in ESIC.
