Eligibility Criteria
- Academic qualification and teaching experience as per Teachers’ Eligibility Qualifications in Medical Institutions, 2025 (as amended to date of interview for respective post)
- Must be registered with State Medical Council/NMC as applicable before joining
- For Emergency Medicine: Candidates from General Medicine, Anaesthesia, Respiratory Medicine, General Surgery, Orthopaedics eligible in addition to the subject
- For ICUs: Critical Care Medicine (preferred), or General Medicine, Respiratory Medicine, Emergency Medicine with at least one year Senior Resident experience
- Age: Not exceeding 67 years as on date of interview
Salary/Stipend
- Professor: Rs. 2,52,405/- per month (Consolidated Remuneration)
- Associate Professor: Rs. 1,67,844/- per month
- Assistant Professor: Rs. 1,44,201/- per month
- Additional Transport Allowance with DA on Transport Allowance as per rules
- No private practice is allowed during tenure
- Remuneration will be revised as and when DA rates are revised by Government of India

Selection Process
- Eligible applicants can appear for walk-in interview on mentioned dates
- Document verification conducted before walk-in interview; only eligible candidates permitted
- Selection purely on performance in interview before Selection Board
- If large number of applicants, a screening test (MCQ format) may be conducted for short-listing
- Final selection based on interview performance only
How To Apply
- Download and fill prescribed application form attached to advertisement
- Bring filled application form, self-attested copies and originals of all certificates as proof of age, qualification, experience, and Demand Draft to interview venue
- Attend document verification between 09:00 AM and 11:00 AM on scheduled interview dates
- Only those with documents verified for eligibility will be permitted to attend interview
- Application must be submitted in proper prescribed format only
- All certificates should be as per eligibility and reservation criteria prescribed in notification
Instructions
- No TA/DA for attending interview or joining
- Selection of candidates is strictly provisional; detailed eligibility check and document verification will follow
- The Dean, ESIC Medical College Hospital reserves the right to increase, decrease, or cancel vacancies
- The contract is initially for 3 years, renewable up to max 5 years or till age of 70, whichever is earlier, with annual performance review
- Rules for reservation applicable as per Govt. of India guidelines
- Applicants already employed in Govt./Autonomous/PSU must produce NOC at time of document verification
- Joining, engagement and service are subject to all eligibility and conduct conditions as per ESIC and Govt. of India rules
