Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualifications

• General Duty Attendant: Must have passed SSC/10th Class or its equivalent from a recognized Board
• Male Nursing Orderly (MNO): Must have passed SSC/10th Class or its equivalent from a recognized Board and First Aid certificate from the concerned recognized authority
• Female Nursing Orderly (FNO): Must have passed SSC/10th Class or its equivalent from a recognized Board and First Aid certificate from the concerned recognized authority
• Stretcher Boy: Must have passed SSC/10th Class or its equivalent from a recognized Board
• The candidate should possess prescribed qualifications as on the date of notification (03/01/2026)
• If applicant possesses an equivalent qualification, they shall enclose a copy of Government orders to that effect

Essential Requirements

• Valid certificate of registration in A.P. Para Medical Board/Allied Health Care Sciences/any other council where applicable
• Study Certificates from class IV to X from the school where candidate studied for local candidature proof
• Candidates migrated from Telangana shall submit certificate of local candidature as per GO No. 132 & 133 dated 13.06.2017
• In absence of suitable local certificate, candidate will be considered as non-local

Salary/Stipend

• Remuneration: Rs. 15,000/- per month for all posts
• All positions (General Duty Attendant, Male Nursing Orderly, Female Nursing Orderly, and Stretcher Boy) carry same remuneration
• Payment will be on outsourcing basis as per government norms

Age Limit (as on 03/01/2026)

• Maximum Age: 42 years
• Age will be reckoned as on date of issue of notification as per G.O.Ms.No.105 GA (Ser-A) dept., dated 27.09.2021

Age Relaxation

• SC, ST, BC and EWS candidates: 5 years relaxation
• Ex-servicemen: 3 years in addition to the length of service in armed forces
• Differently abled persons: 10 years relaxation
• Maximum age limit with all relaxations: 52 years

Application Fee

Payment Mode:

• Applicant must enclose a Demand Draft in favour of Principal, Govt. Medical College, Kadapa
• If candidate is eligible for more than one post, required to enclose separate demand draft for each post and apply separately

Important Dates

Selection Process

• Total Marks: 100
• Marks for Qualifying Examination: 75% will be allocated for aggregate of marks obtained in all years in qualifying examination or equivalent qualification
• Weightage for Years After Qualification: Up to 10 marks @ 1.0 mark per completed year after acquiring requisite qualification as mentioned in pass certificate. Weightage will be reckoned up to date of notification
• Contract/Outsourcing/Honorarium Service Weightage: Up to 15% weightage based on working area:
  • @ 2.5 marks per six months in Tribal Area
  • @ 2.0 marks per six months in Rural Area
  • @ 1.0 marks per six months in Urban Area
  • No weightage for services less than six months for Non-COVID service
  • For COVID-19 service less than 6 months: 0.8 marks per completed month
• COVID-19 weightage applicable only to persons who rendered services on Contract/Outsourcing/Honorarium basis appointed by District Collector or competent authority
• Candidates claiming service weightage must submit original service certificate in prescribed proforma issued by competent authority along with copy of appointment orders
• Applications without service certificates will not be considered for service weightage
• Selection based on merit and reservation rules

General Information/Instructions

• Proforma of application will be available on portal https://Kadapa.ap.gov.in/ from 10:30 AM on 05/01/2026 to 05:00 PM on 12/01/2026
• Filled applications shall be submitted at specified counters in Principal Govt. Medical College Putlampalli, YSR Kadapa District
• Candidates advised to apply as soon as possible without waiting till last date to avoid last hour rush
• Obtain dated acknowledgement from receiving authority as proof of submission
• District Jurisdiction for recruitment is erstwhile YSR Kadapa District only
• Candidates can choose only one category while exercising option during counselling
• Roster registers will be maintained separately by Superintendent, GGH/Cancer Care Centre of Kadapa
• Merit List valid for one year (up to December 2026) for filling arising vacancies
• An acknowledgement must be issued by Office of Principal/Addl.DME, GMC Kadapa on receipt of application immediately
• Candidates must submit clear, visible documents, failing which application will be summarily rejected
• Applications without required documents will be summarily rejected

Tenure of Appointment

• Tenure for contract/outsourcing posts is initially one year from date of joining
• May be extended for further period as per government instructions from time to time
• District Selection Committee reserves all rights to terminate contract/outsourcing services with one month notice

Debarment Conditions

• Candidates furnishing incorrect information or making false declarations liable to be debarred from recruitment
• Suppressing any information will lead to summarily rejection of candidature for this and future recruitment
• Any attempt causing breach of duty or violating fair practices will be ground for debarment
