Eligibility Criteria
- Qualification: Postgraduate degree MD/MS/DNB in the concerned subject as per NMC notification dated 14.02.2022 & 30.06.2025.
- Experience: For Professor - minimum 03 years as Associate Professor; For Associate Professor - minimum 04 years as Assistant Professor; For Assistant Professor - 01 year Senior Resident/Tutor experience in concerned subject in recognized institution.
- Other Requirements: Must have completed (or required to undergo) Basic Course in Biomedical Research (BCBR) and Basic Course in Medical Education Technology (BCMET) from NMC designated institutions.
- Publications: Professor - minimum 04 research publications (02 while as Associate Professor); Associate Professor - minimum 02 publications (02 while as Assistant Professor); Minimum 20 marks in research publications as per NMC.
- Registration: Registered with Maharashtra Medical Council and/or Medical Council of India (now NMC).
Salary/ Stipend
- Professor: Rs. 2,00,000/- (lump sum contractual per month)
- Associate Professor: Rs. 1,85,000/- (lump sum contractual per month)
- Assistant Professor: Rs. 1,00,000/- (lump sum contractual per month)
Age Limit (as on relevant cutoff date mentioned in notification)
- Professor and Associate Professor: Below 70 years
- Assistant Professor: Open category - 40 years; Reserved categories - 45 years (as per NMC notification 14.02.2022)
