Local Residence Eligibility
Only local women candidates are eligible to apply. The residence requirements are:
- For an Anganwadi Centre in an urban area, the applicant must be a resident of the concerned ward or division.
- For an Anganwadi Centre in a rural area, the applicant must be a resident of the concerned Gram Panchayat.
- Candidates must apply only for the Anganwadi Centre for which they satisfy the prescribed local-residence condition.
Reservation Details
The vacancies are distributed among the following categories according to the roster:
- Open Competition
- Scheduled Caste - Group I, Group II and Group III
- Scheduled Tribe
- Backward Class - A, B, C, D and E
- Economically Weaker Section
- Visually Handicapped category
For vacancies in Scheduled Caste Sub-Plan Anganwadi Centres, eligible SC women from the concerned village or habitation will be considered. For Scheduled Tribe Sub-Plan centres, eligible ST women from the concerned Gram Panchayat will be considered.
