The upper age limits for the posts are as follows:
- Research Associate (RA): Upper age limit is 40 years for men and 45 years for women.

Pay and Tenure
The positions are purely temporary, time-bound, and co-terminus with the DBT-funded scheme for a period of three years. Service conditions and tenure are governed by ICAR guidelines. The appointed personnel will have no legal right or claim to regular appointment, absorption, or further contractual engagement under ICAR.
The post-wise monthly emoluments are:
- Research Associate (RA): Rs. 61,000/- plus 30% HRA per month.
- Junior Research Fellow (JRF): Rs. 37,000/- fixed per month for the first and second year; Rs. 42,000/- fixed per month for the third year.
