Eligibility Criteria
- M.E./M.Tech. in Metallurgy, Metallurgical Engineering, Materials Engineering, Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, Applied Mechanics, Aerospace Engineering, Ceramics Engineering or allied discipline from a recognized university/institute
- OR M.Sc. in Physics/Chemistry/Materials Science/Mathematics and Two years’ experience in R&D in industrial/academic institutions or S&T organizations
- Ph.D. in Metallurgy, Metallurgical Engineering, Materials Engineering, Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, Applied Mechanics, Aerospace Engineering, Ceramics Engineering, or allied discipline (Desirable)
- Working knowledge and hands-on experience in High entropy alloys, Molecular Dynamics simulations, Computational materials design, Thermo-Calc software, COMSOL Multiphysics, LAMMPS simulation platform (Desirable)
- Experience in computational modelling, materials thermodynamics, and simulation-based materials design will be an added advantage
- Capability to supervise project staff and coordinate multi-institutional or industrial collaborations
- Experience in proposal writing, documentation and instrumentation maintenance is advantageous
- Leadership skills and ability to deliver project milestones independently
