Qualification
1st class B.Tech in Civil Engineering and 1st class M.Tech in Hydrology / Water Resources / Hydraulics with at least 2 years’ experience and NET/GATE (relaxable for eligible CFTI graduates)
Essential Qualification: 1st class B.Tech in Civil Engineering and 1st class M.Tech in Hydrology / Water Resources / Hydraulics with a minimum of 2 years of experience and NET/GATE qualification.
NET/GATE Relaxation: Requirement of NET/GATE may be relaxed for candidates who have graduated from Centrally Funded Technical Institutes (CFTIs) with CGPA > 8.000 (80% aggregate marks).
Desirable Experience:
Hands-on experience with at least two hydrologic & hydraulic models: HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS (1D/2D), Aquaveo WMS, SWMM, MIKE, TUFLOW, MODFLOW, etc.
Strong understanding of hydrology, hydrodynamics, reservoir operations, sediment transport and related processes.
Working knowledge of GIS for basemaps, layouts, longitudinal/cross-section drawings and inundation maps.
Salary/Stipend
Consolidated fellowship: Rs. 37,000/- per month.
HRA: Additional HRA @ 27% as per norms.
In case of selection of a retired/superannuated government employee, salary will be fixed as per prevailing IRD norms.
