Eligibility Criteria
Essential Qualification: M.Sc. in Physics / Materials Science / Chemistry OR M. Tech. in Materials Engineering / Nanotechnology / Energy Science and Technology, or any other relevant discipline from a recognized University/Institute.
The candidate should have a consistently good academic record.
Candidates must have qualified a recognized national-level examination (e.g., GATE >2500, CSIR-UGC NET, or JEST).
Desirable Qualifications: For JRF-1: Prior hands-on experience in material synthesis (e.g., hydrothermal, co-precipitation), materials characterization (XRD, SEM, TEM etc.), and electrochemical testing (CV, EIS, galvanostatic cycling) of battery materials.
Strong fundamental knowledge of electrochemistry.
Good scientific writing and communication skills.
Salary/ Stipend
During first two years, INR 37,000 /- plus HRA as applicable.
In third year, 42,000 /- plus HRA as applicable.
