IIT Jammu Recruitment 2026 - Eligibility Criteria
- Institute Engineer: Bachelor’s degree in the appropriate branch of Engineering / Technology or equivalent from a recognized University/Institute with at least 60% in the qualifying degree. At least 15 years relevant experience out of which at least 05 years as Executive Engineer or equivalent post in the Pay Matrix Level 12 or above.
- Assistant Registrar: Master degree or its equivalent in any discipline from a recognized University with 60% marks and above or its equivalent Grade B in the UGC seven-point scale and consistently good academic record. At least 05 years relevant administrative experience in supervisory capacity in a Govt. office/university/technological institution or an organization of repute.
- Assistant Engineer (Civil): Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized University/Institute with minimum 60% marks and at least 05 years’ experience as Junior Engineer (Civil) or equivalent post in Pay Matrix Level 6 or equivalent. OR Three years Diploma in Civil Engineering with minimum 60% marks and at least 08 years’ experience as Junior Engineer (Civil) or equivalent.
- Assistant Engineer (Electrical): Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from a recognized University/Institute with minimum 60% marks and at least 05 years’ experience as Junior Engineer (Electrical) or equivalent post in Pay Matrix Level 6 or equivalent. OR Three years Diploma in Electrical Engineering with minimum 60% marks and at least 08 years’ experience as Junior Engineer (Electrical) or equivalent.
- Junior Engineer (Civil): Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized University/Institute with minimum 60% marks and at least 02 years’ experience in execution of civil works and estimation and billing of civil works in Pay Matrix Level 4 or equivalent. OR Three years Diploma in Civil Engineering with minimum 60% marks and at least 05 years’ experience.
