Eligibility Criteria
- Qualifications: Graduate in any discipline from a recognized university.
- Essential qualifications: Good working knowledge of computers, MS Office, and email communication.
- Those who were once selected as Professional Trainee at IIT Kharagpur with stipend Rs. 20,000/- will not be taken.
Salary/Stipend
- Consolidated Compensation (Stipend) Upto Rs.20,000 (Rupees twenty thousand only) depending on qualification & experience.
- An undertaking will be taken from the trainees at the time of joining to the effect that the stipend amount will be refunded back if he/she leaves before completion of the training period or after any other kind of irregularities.
Age Limit (as on 31-12-2025)
- Maximum Age Limit: 25 years.
- Age relaxations will be granted for SC/ST/OBC/Physically Handicapped/Visually Handicapped and female applicants as per Government of India Rules.
Application Fee
- Application fee of Rs. 500/- (Rupees five hundred only) is required for Gen/OBC candidates.
- A fee of Rs. 250/- (Rupees two hundred fifty only) is required for SC/ST/PwD/Women candidates.
- The fee(s) paid shall not be refunded under any circumstances.

General Information/Instructions
- The engagement is purely on a temporary basis for a maximum period of 12 months.
- The selected trainees will be required to work for 8 hours per day for 6 days in a week.
- They will be engaged in the works related to SRIC of the Institute under the supervision of the Officers of the SRIC.
- Leave admissible: 2 and 1/2 days for each completed month of work.
- Any kind of indiscipline/irregularity will lead to short closure of the training period without showing any cause or prior notice.
