1. Educational Qualification
Candidates must possess Ph.D. in Materials Engineering/Polymer Engineering/Biotechnology/Biomedical Engineering or any other allied branches. Minimum two research publications in SCI-indexed journals having a high impact factor in the field of Materials Engineering/Biomaterials and Polymer Engineering/Biomedical Engineering or Pharmaceutical science and drug delivery. Only articles in which the applicant is the first author will be considered for screening. The applicant should be able to demonstrate his/her working capabilities with the material characterization tools, including SEM, TEM, XRD, TGA, DSC, and HPLC. from a recognized university/board to apply for IIT Roorkee Post-Doctoral Fellow (PDF) positions.

Instructions
The candidate should be passionate about working on cutting-edge research, leading to high-impact publications. Apart from research activities under the above project, the candidate will be entrusted with other academic responsibilities, including mentoring UG/PG students, participating in research discussions, and other activities as deemed fit by the mentor. The candidate is expected to join the department as soon as the offer letter is released. Post-doctoral Fellows will be registered as students and may avail facilities of the library, computer center, available hospital facilities etc. They will be entitled to 2.5 days of leave per completed calendar month. No carry forward for leave will be allowed beyond a calendar year. PDF positions are purely temporary.
Salary/Stipend
Fellowship (per month): Rs.80,000 for 1st Year and Rs.80,000 for 2nd Year. Contingency: Rs. 50,000 per Year.
