Human Space Flight Centre (HSFC) Scientist/Engineer SD Recruitment 2026 Notification has been released on 10th August 2026 on the official website www.hsfc.gov.in.   • The Ph.D. and Master's/Bachelor's qualification must be from a recognized university/institute.
  • Candidates with degrees from foreign universities must submit an equivalency certificate from the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) at the time of interview.
  • The ME/M.Tech/MS/MSc/BE/B.Tech/BSc/BS-MS qualification must have been completed within the stipulated duration prescribed by the university.
  • Candidates who completed a professional course through Open and Distance Learning (ODL) are not eligible.
  • Where CGPA is converted to a percentage, or vice versa, ISRO's own eligibility criteria apply; conversion of CGPA to percentage using a university formula is not permitted to determine eligibility, and rounding-off of marks is not allowed.

HSFC Scientist/Engineer SD Age Limit

The upper age limit for all post codes (01 to 06) is 35 years as on the crucial date, 30.08.2026. Serving Central Government employees, Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD), and Ex-Servicemen are eligible for age relaxation as per extant Government of India rules.

Selected candidates will be placed in Level-11 of the Pay Matrix (Rs. 67,700 – Rs. 2,08,700), with approximate gross emoluments of Rs. 67,700 per month plus admissible allowances.

In addition to Basic Pay, Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA) and Transport Allowance are payable as per extant rules. Employees are covered under the National Pension System/Unified Pension Scheme, along with medical facilities for self and dependents, subsidized canteen, quarters facility (in lieu of HRA), Leave Travel Concession, Group Insurance and House Building Advance, as admissible under DOS/Central Government orders.
