A total of 85 vacancies are available across various engineering and non-engineering disciplines for eligible Indian candidates. These positions are for a one-year training period under the Apprentices Act, 1961. Candidates must apply via an off-line walk-in interview process, not online. Eligibility Criteria
- Qualifications (Graduate Engineering): BE/B.Tech or equivalent in the respective disciplines with an aggregate minimum of 65% marks or CGPA 6.84/10. Graduation must be completed within the stipulated course duration.
- Qualifications (Graduate Non-Engineering): Graduation with Minimum of 60% marks or CGPA of 6.32 on a 10-point scale in BA, B.Sc, or B.Com.
- Qualifications (Technician): Diploma in Engineering/Technology in the respective disciplines with First Class.
- Qualifications must be acquired from a University/Board recognized by AICTE/UGC through regular mode only.
- Candidates must have acquired Diploma/Graduation in the years 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024 and 2025.
- Candidates with one year or more job experience in the relevant field are not eligible. Ex-apprentices are also not eligible.
Salary/Stipend
- Graduate Apprentice Stipend: Rs. 9,000/- per month.
- Technician Apprentice Stipend: Rs. 8,000/- per month.
- Note: Half of the stipend amount will be paid by IPRC, and the remaining half will be borne by BOAT under the DBT Scheme.
Age Limit (as on 20-12-2025)
- Graduate (Engr. & Non-Engr.) Apprentice: Maximum 28 years.
- Technician Apprentice: Maximum 35 years.
- Age relaxation is applicable for SC/ST candidates (5 years) and OBC candidates (3 years). PWD candidates are also eligible for relaxation as per Government of India Rules.

Selection Process
- Selection will be done purely based on the highest marks secured in the qualifying examination as entered by the candidates in the application form, with due weightage to reservation categories.
- Applications will only be received through OFF-LINE mode via Walk-in-Interview.
General Information/Instructions
- The period of training will be one year. Trainees will have no claim for regular employment after completion of training.
- Only Indian nationals are eligible to apply.
- Selected candidates will be registered under the Apprentices Act, 1961.
- Candidates must bring original certificates and self-attested copies for verification during the walk-in interview.
- Applications sent through Post/Courier will not be entertained.
