J&K Bank Apprentice Recruitment 2026 Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification Graduation from a recognized University/Institute. Candidates must have passed their Graduation on or after 01.01.2022. The candidate should be proficient in the local/official language of the respective region and should have studied it as a subject in 10th or 12th.
Age Limit (as on 01.01.2026)
- Minimum Age: 20 years
- Maximum Age: 28 years Age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD etc. as per Government guidelines.
Stipend ₹13,500/- per month (Bank Share ₹9,000 + Govt. Share ₹4,500 via DBT). Conveyance allowance up to ₹1,250/- per month.

J&K Bank Apprentice Recruitment 2026 Selection Process
The selection of apprentices for J&K Bank 2026 will be based entirely on merit obtained in an Online Written Examination of objective type. The examination consists of 100 questions of 100 marks to be completed in 60 minutes (1 hour), divided into two sections: General Awareness & English Comprehension (50 questions, 50 marks, 30 minutes) and Quantitative Aptitude & Reasoning Ability (50 questions, 50 marks, 30 minutes).
There is a penalty for wrong answers -one-fourth (1/4th) of the marks assigned to a question will be deducted for each wrong answer. No penalty applies for unattempted questions. The online examination will be conducted only in English. The merit list will be drawn district/region and category wise, with candidates placed according to their aggregate marks in descending order. In case two or more candidates score equal marks, they will be ranked based on age in descending order (older candidate ranked higher).
A wait list of 50% of notified vacancies will be maintained for one year from the date of result or till the next engagement exercise, whichever is earlier. The Bank reserves the right to conduct any other test or follow any other selection criteria at its discretion.

Additional Benefits for J&K / Ladakh Domicile Apprentices (on Future Recruitment):
- Relaxation of one year in age for appointment in Banking Associate cadre after successful completion of the Apprenticeship programme (applicable exclusively for domicile of UTs of J&K and Ladakh).
- An additional 2.5% of maximum marks (i.e., 2.5 marks out of 100) will be added to the score in the online written test, subject to the condition that total marks (including bonus marks) do not exceed maximum marks (applicable exclusively for domicile of UTs of J&K and Ladakh).

- Eligible candidates can apply for J&K Bank Apprentice Recruitment 2026 through online mode only from 20 April 2026 to 03 May 2026. No other mode of application will be accepted.

J&K Bank Apprentice Recruitment 2026 Examination Centres
The online written examination for J&K Bank Apprentice Recruitment 2026 will be conducted at designated centres across multiple cities.
The examination will be held online at venues mentioned in the respective call letters. No request for change of centre, venue, date, or session will be entertained under any circumstances. The choice of centre once exercised by the candidate is final.
The Bank reserves the right to cancel any examination centre, add new centres, or allot a different centre to a candidate depending on the response and administrative feasibility.
Candidates will appear for the examination at their own risk and expense. Though the duration of the examination is 1 hour, candidates may be required to remain at the venue for approximately 4 hours to complete formalities such as document verification and login procedures.
Candidates reporting late after the reporting time specified on the call letter will not be permitted to take the examination.

Documents Required at the Time of Engagement
Candidates who are shortlisted and called for engagement as apprentices must produce the following documents in original along with a self-attested photocopy at the time of engagement. Non-submission of any of the required documents will make the candidate ineligible for further participation in the engagement process.
Candidates are advised to keep all documents ready well in advance to avoid last-minute delays. All documents must match exactly the details submitted in the online application form. Any discrepancy found in the documents at any stage of the process may lead to disqualification or termination of apprenticeship, if already engaged.
