- The application window is open from 27 June 2026 to 2 July 2026 (5:00 PM).
- Candidates must log in using their registered Email ID / Phone Number / Candidate ID and Password.
- After logging in, click Start/View Application in Step 1 to view previously entered details.
- In Step 2, enter the required information for the Mains examination and upload all necessary documents as scanned PDF files.
- For Paper II (Language & Literature), candidates must select one language subject as per clause 16(a) of the advertisement.
- Candidates must choose either Hindi or English as the medium for answering Mains papers (except Language & Literature paper) and for the interview.
Required Documents for JPSC Mains Online Application
Candidates must upload self-attested scanned copies of the following documents during the online application process. All original documents must be produced at the time of document verification.
- Educational Qualification Certificate: Mandatory for all candidates to substantiate their claimed educational eligibility.
- Category Certificate (BC-II / SC): Candidates claiming reservation benefits under Backward Class-II or Scheduled Caste categories must upload a valid local/domicile certificate as specified in the original advertisement (Clause 6).
- Caste Certificate: As per the Government of Jharkhand guidance issued vide Memo No. 4258 dated 30 May 2019, a valid caste certificate is also applicable.
- NOC from Controlling Officer / Head of Department: Candidates who are regular government employees of Jharkhand must upload a No Objection Certificate (NOC) issued by their Controlling Officer or Head of Department.
- Ex-Serviceman Certificate: Candidates seeking age relaxation on the basis of Ex-Serviceman status must upload the relevant certificate.
Submission of Hard Copy to JPSC Office
In addition to the online application, candidates are required to send a physical (hard copy) of their application and documents to the JPSC office. Missing this step may lead to cancellation of candidature.
- The hard copy must include a downloaded printout of the online application and self-attested copies of all uploaded certificates.
