KEA Kannada Language Test 2026 What It Is
The Compulsory Kannada Language Test is a qualifying test, not a merit-ranking exam. It applies only to candidates from the outside-Karnataka and Kalyana-Karnataka quota who have not studied or passed their qualifying examination in Kannada, or who have not cleared an equivalent Kannada test, or who have not completed SSLC-level schooling with Kannada as a first or second language. Clearing this test alone does not guarantee final selection it is a mandatory clearance step for the candidates it applies to. KEA Kannada Language Test 2026 Objection Process
Candidates who wish to challenge any answer in the provisional key can do so through the official KEA Provisional Answer Key Objection Portal. The window is open from 22nd August 2026 until 24th August 2026, 12:00 noon, after which no objections will be accepted.
Steps to Raise an Objection
- Visit the objection portal login page at cetonline.karnataka.gov.in/keaobjections.
- Log in using your Application Number/Register Number and the first 5 characters of your name.
- Enter your Date of Birth.
- Select the examination Compulsory Kannada – 2026 (22-08-2026).
- Enter the captcha code and log in.
- Select the question number and version code you want to object to.
- Upload supporting documents or proof in PDF format for each objection.
- Pay the applicable fee of Rs. 25/- per objection and submit.
Important Instructions
- Every objection must clearly mention the question number and version code, and must be supported by valid proof in PDF format.
- A fee of Rs. 25/- is charged per objection raised; this fee is non-refundable.
- Objections that do not correctly mention the question number or version code, or that lack valid supporting proof, will not be considered.
- The decision of the subject expert committee reviewing the objections will be treated as final.
- Objections cannot be submitted after 24th August 2026, 12:00 noon.

What Happens After the Objection Window Closes
Once the objection window closes on 24th August 2026, the subject expert committee will review all objections submitted by candidates. Based on this review, KEA will release the final answer key for the Kannada Language Test. Results will then be prepared using the final key, feeding into the overall selection process for the respective posts Police Constable, Village Administrative Officer, Land Surveyor, KREIS Teacher, and Section Officer. The exact date for the final key and result has not been officially announced yet.
