How to Apply for MEA Internship 2026
- Read the internship policy on the MEA internship portal and check the eligibility conditions, including the age limit and the states covered in Term II.
- Go to the official portal at internship.mea.gov.in.
- Click the Register link and register on the portal to obtain your access credentials.
- Log in with your credentials and complete the application form.
- Submit the application on or before 27 September 2026.
- Track the portal for the shortlist (7 October 2026), interview call and final selection list (23 October 2026).
Important Instructions and Terms
- Selection is strictly subject to the necessary security clearances.
- The outcome of the study during the internship remains the intellectual property of the MEA. Interns cannot use it without the Ministry's prior approval.
- Interns must keep all information relating to the MEA confidential.
- The Ministry may end an intern's engagement at any time without giving a reason, and its decision is final.
- An intern can end the internship by giving one week's prior notice. In that case, the cost of air travel, if any, will be recovered from the intern.
- Apply only online. The application, scrutiny, selection, allocation of division, notification, extension and certification are all handled on the internship portal.
