MPSC Bailiff & Clerk Group-C Recruitment 2026 - General Notes on Vacancies & Reservations
- 4.1 If any change in vacancies and reservations is received from the Government, such information/changes will be published on the Commission's official website and the recruitment process will be carried out accordingly.
- 4.2 Various backlog categories, women, skilled athletes, orphans, Divyang, etc. - social and parallel reservations will be as per the orders/decisions issued by the Government from time to time.
- 4.3 Candidates from Vimukta Jati (A), Wandering Tribes (B), Special Backlog Categories, social and educational backlog categories claiming benefits who are not actually upward and advanced persons/groups in society must submit the Non-Creamy Layer certificate in the prescribed format along with a valid online affidavit.
- 4.4 For Economically Weaker Section (EWS) candidates, as per Government Resolution, General Administration Department, No. RAA-4019/P.No.31/16-A, dated 12 February 2019, and the Government's subsequent directions, the process will be carried out. Accordingly, candidates claiming EWS for this post must mandatorily submit income and asset certificate for FY 2026–2027 on or before the last date of application (07 July 2026), or submit the previous year’s EWS certificate.
- 4.5 This advertisement regarding Social and Educational Backlog Category Act dated 26 February 2024 and related Government Resolution dated 26 February 2024 is subject to the final decision of the Hon’ble Supreme Court in the pending judicial proceedings. Appointments will also be subject to the final judicial decision. Accordingly, the advertisement published on 26 April 2024 by the Commission remains effective.

Educational Qualification
For Bailiff and Clerk, Group-C:
- Degree
- Knowledge of Marathi language is required.
- Typing Qualification for Bailiff and Clerk Cadre: Marathi typing speed of at least 30 words per minute or English typing speed of at least 40 words per minute Government Commerce Certificate or Computer Typing Certificate Examination passed.
- A degree holder who requires internship or hands-on work experience in a workshop must have fulfilled this condition by the prescribed date of acceptance of applications.
