1. Educational Qualification & Experience
- Principal:
a) Certificate of Competency as Master-Near Coastal Voyage (NCV) or Master (FG) or Marine Engineer Officer - Class I Engineer (issued by DG Shipping)
b) Minimum 20 years experience, out of which at least 5 years as faculty in DG Shipping approved institute. Should be well versed in administration and financial matters. - Senior Faculty (Deck):
Chief Mate (FG) of a foreign going ship or Master Near Coastal Voyages (NCV) - Senior Faculty (Engine):
MEO Class II (FG) or Chief Engineer NCV (MEO III)
2. Age Limit
- Minimum Age: 35 years
- Maximum Age: 60 years
Salary/Stipend
- Principal: ₹1,20,000/- per month (consolidated)
- Senior Faculty (Deck & Engine): ₹1,00,000/- per month (consolidated each)
