Eligibility Criteria
- Age limit: Not more than 45 years for all Medical Officer posts.
- Medical Officer (Intensivist): MBBS degree of a statutory university with MD/DNB/Post Graduate Degree in General Medicine/Anaesthesia; one year experience as Medical Officer in a well-established hospital after completion of internship.
- Medical Officer (Radiology): MBBS degree of a statutory university with MS/DNB in Radiology (Rs. 1,27,000/- p.m.) OR MBBS with Diploma in Radiology or equivalent (Rs. 1,15,000/- p.m.); plus one year experience after internship.
- Medical Officer (Biochemistry) / Biochemist: MBBS with MD/DNB (Biochemistry) or equivalent OR M.Sc. Biochemistry; plus one year experience after internship (for MBBS based posts).
- Other requirements (all posts): One year experience as Medical Officer in a well‑established hospital after internship; working knowledge of Hindi and Marathi; valid caste/ non‑creamy layer/ PWD certificate if applicable.
Age Limit (as on date of interview)
- For all Medical Officer posts, the age should not be more than 45 years.
- Age relaxation is applicable to reserved category candidates as per rules, subject to submission of relevant caste and non‑creamy layer certificates.

Salary/Stipend
- Medical Officer (Intensivist): Rs. 1,27,000/- per month consolidated remuneration.

Instructions
- Candidates must have one year experience as Medical Officer in a well‑established hospital after internship.
- Working knowledge of Hindi and Marathi is mandatory.
- Candidates belonging to reserved categories must submit caste certificate along with caste validity certificate and non‑creamy layer certificate, wherever applicable.
- Age relaxation is applicable to reserved category candidates as per rules.
- In case of occupation of MbPA quarters, applicable HRA, licence fee and electricity charges will be deducted and a refundable deposit of Rs. 25,000/- will be payable.
- Service at Mumbai Port Authority will be considered for MO ship under the Medical Education Rule of the Government of Maharashtra for bond.
