Age Limit and Relaxation

The maximum age limit for all posts is not exceeding 35 years as on the last date of application. Age relaxation and reservation benefits will be given to SC / ST / OBC / EWS / PwD / Ex-Servicemen candidate(s) / Government Employee as per existing Central Government rules.

Pay and Tenure

Appointments will be made on a long-term basis at appropriate pay scales as per the 7th Central Pay Commission Pay Matrix. The Institute reserves the right to offer appointments initially on contract, which may be regularized based on performance and institutional requirements.

NID Assam Associate Senior Design Instructor Job Description

Selected candidates will be expected to handle academic and technical support, studio and laboratory coordination, equipment handling, and maintenance of tools and machinery. Specific duties include assisting faculty and students during practical classes and workshops, maintaining equipment logbooks, managing inventories, supporting institutional events and exhibitions, and contributing to technical infrastructure upkeep.
