Eligibility Criteria
- Master’s degree in Physics from a recognized university.
- The positions are under the project entitled “Quantum walk of multi-component bosons and its application to study many-body localization” in the School of Physical Sciences, NISER Bhubaneswar funded by SERB, Govt. of India.
Salary / Stipend
- ₹31,000/- per month + HRA (as per rules) for candidates who have valid CSIR-UGC NET including lectureship (Assistant Professorship).
- ₹25,000/- per month + HRA (as per rules) for candidates who do not fall under the above category.
Age Limit
- Maximum age: 35 years as on 8 February 2026; age relaxation to entitled categories as per SERB rules.

Selection Process
- Selection will be through an Online Interview conducted only through Google Meet.
General Information / Instructions
- The positions are purely temporary for a period of 3 months or completion of the project, whichever is earlier, and are strictly co-terminus with the project.
- The positions will not lead to any PhD degree in NISER.
- The positions will not confer any right or claim, implicit or explicit, for consideration or absorption against any NISER post.
- No TA/DA will be paid to the candidate for appearing in the interview or joining the position.

- Interested candidates should appear for Online Interview only.
- Candidates need to send the filled-in application form (given in pages 2–3 of the notification) along with scanned copies of relevant certificates for initial verification.
