Eligibility Criteria
- Essential Qualification: M.Sc./M.Tech. in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biophysics, Biotechnology or an allied area with at least 60% marks (or equivalent CGPA).
- Essential Qualification: Candidates should have a NET/GATE qualification.
- Desirable Qualification: Prior experience in peptide synthesis and/or development of peptide-based biomaterials will be given preference.
Salary / Stipend
- Fellowship will be Rs. 28,000/- + 20% HRA = Rs. 33,600/- per month.
- Fellowship is available for a period of 1 year.
- Fellowship is extendable up to approximately three years subject to funding and satisfactory performance.

Selection Process
- A walk-in interview will be conducted for the selection of one Project Technical Support-III under an ICMR-funded research project at the Department of Biotechnology, NIT Durgapur.
General Information / Instructions
- The position is purely contractual and is for the duration of the project only.
- Selected candidates will not be entitled to claim any regular appointments/absorption in the institute.
- No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
- Candidates will not be entertained after the said interview slot; in case of any exigency, the decision of the selection committee will be final and binding on the candidates.
