Eligibility Criteria
- B. E./ B. Tech. /B. S. and M. E. / M. Tech./ M. S. or Integrated M. Tech. in relevant branch with first class or equivalent in any one of the degrees.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture AND M. Arch. or Master Degree in allied area, with FIRST Class at either of the Bachelor’s or Master’s level.

General Information / Instructions
- The qualification of Ph.D. acquired for the various level of posts directly after B.E/B.Tech. is applicable in Technical Institutions, provided degree of Ph.D. awarded is in relevant discipline by a University following the process of registration, course work and evaluation etc. as prescribed by UGC or has been awarded by the Institutes of national importance (i.e. IITs/IISc/NITs etc.), duly recognized by the MHRD. Further, candidate should have obtained at least first class at Bachelor’s level in Engineering/Technology. Existing Faculty recruited with the basic minimum qualifications such as M.Sc. (Mathematics), M.Sc (Biotechnology), M.Sc (Electronics) M.Sc (Computer Science & allied subjects), M.Sc. (Physics), M.Sc (Chemistry), MCA, PGDM, AMIE/M.Com and any other similar qualifications which were considered eligible at the time of recruitment or taken admission in such courses before publication of the AICTE Gazette dated 13th March 2010 are to be considered as eligible for direct recruitment, subject to fulfilment of other eligibility criteria and higher qualifications as prescribed, if any, for various teaching posts. The relevant degrees for the posts are mentioned in Annexure ‘B’.
- The relevancy list is indicative but not exhaustive. In case of any other degree which may be submitted by any candidate as relevant, the same shall be examined by the University through duly constituted committee. University decision shall be final in this regard. The candidate must be a citizen of India. The educational qualification, experience, age and other eligibility conditions as stipulated in advertisement shall be determined as on the closing date of submission of online application. In case of Architecture Department, only candidates registered with Council of Architecture (COA) under the provisions of the Architects Act, 1972 shall be eligible for the above posts.
- The experience (teaching and practice) shall be counted only from the date of registering with the COA. Grant of age relaxation of upper age limit to various categories shall be in accordance with Guidelines as issued by DoPT from time to time (Refer Compilation of Instructions vide OM No. DOPT-1667569393892 dated 06.09.2022 issued by Government of India, DoPT). Reservation benefits will be available to the EWS/SC/ST/OBC/PwBD candidates in accordance with the Instructions/Orders/Circulars issued from time to time by the Govt. of NCT of Delhi. Candidates who wish to be considered against reserved vacancies and /or to seek age relaxation, must be in possession of all relevant Certificates viz., EWS/SC/ST/OBC(Delhi) – Non Creamy layer (NCL)/PwBD/Educational/ Experience etc. as on the closing date of submission of online application, issued by the competent / notified authority in prescribed format valid for the financial year 2025-26 (issued between 01.04.2025 and closing date of receipt of online application) otherwise their claim for reservation category will not be entertained and their applications will be considered against un-reserved (UR) category vacancies if eligible otherwise and no age relaxation will be given.
- The candidates have to select particular category as applicable to them when applying online for the post. No request for change of Category will be entertained at any later stage. Only OBC (Delhi) candidates notified by Govt. of NCT of Delhi vide letter/order No. F/19(10)2001/S-III/Pt. File/2278-2285 dated 27/07/2007 and no. F.19(01)/2012/S.IV/ 1241- 1258 dated 28/07/2016 will be given the benefit of reservation / age relaxation under OBC category. This has been further clarified by Services Department, Govt. of NCT of Delhi vide its Office Memorandum No. F.19(02)/2011/S.IV/Vol.1/856 dated 31.05.2021.
- The OBC (Outside Delhi) candidates will be treated as un-reserved candidates, and they must apply under UR category. The OBC (Delhi) candidates must be in possession of non-creamy layer certificate, issued by Competent Authority between 01.04.2025 and the closing date of submission of online application duly valid for the financial year 2025-26 along with his/her OBC (Delhi) certificate. OBC Candidates belonging to “Creamy Layer” are not entitled to avail any concession otherwise extended to OBC category. Such candidates have to indicate their category as UR. Only following two types of certificates will be accepted as valid certificates for grant of benefit of reservation to OBC.
- Candidature of the applicants who fail to produce valid OBC category certificate alongwith NCL Certificate EWS/SC/ST and/or PwBD Certificate (as applicable) during document verification or as and when required to produce the same will be cancelled. All candidates are advised to obtain required valid category certificate before the closing date of online application to avoid cancellation of candidature at any stage of the recruitment process. Candidates who have claimed a reservation category and fail to produce a valid category certificate as applicable as per published criteria, their candidature shall be cancelled in the reserved category, and the candidature shall be treated as Unreserved (if otherwise eligible as a General Category).
- Candidates belonging to Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) will have to furnish self-attested copy of valid Income & Asset certificate valid for the financial year 2025-26, issued by the competent authority on or before the closing date of submission of online application. A candidate belonging to the EWS/SC/ST/OBC category selected on the same standard as a General Category candidate will be treated as a General Category candidate. Such candidates will not be adjusted against the reserved quota but will be counted in the unreserved (General) merit list.
How to Apply
- Only online submitted applications followed by its hard copy with annexures will be accepted.
