- Must possess a National/Provisional Trade Certificate issued by the National Council for Vocational Training (NCVT) or State Council for Vocational Training (SCVT), in Diesel Mechanic, Fitter, Electrician, Turner, Welder, Motor Mechanic, or Machinist trade.

- Assisting Logging Operators in minor repairs and maintenance of Logging Units and Logging Tools at the workshop and well site.

- Loading/unloading various tools, rig-up accessories, radioactive materials, and explosives into the logging unit.

- Work related to Pressure Control Assembly, Grease Injection System, and similar equipment.
- Routine checking of batteries, lube/engine oil, coolant, tyre pressure, and lights of the Logging Unit.
- Cleaning all logging equipment (Logging Tools, Logging Unit, Mast Unit and accessories) after any logging operation.
- Ensuring compliance with all safety rules and regulations at the wellsite and workshop.
- Any other work assigned by the Logging Operator.

OIL Contractual Logging Assistant Recruitment 2026: Important Instructions
- This recruitment is open only to domicile candidates of Assam and Arunachal Pradesh.
- Candidates must ensure they fulfil all eligibility criteria before registering; ineligible candidates will not be allowed to appear for the Walk-in for Personal Assessment.
