Educational Qualification (All Three Posts – RG/08/26, RG/09/26, RG/10/26): Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering/Technology/Computer Science/Degree in Engineering in Computer Applications/Information Technology/Electronics/Electronics & Telecommunications/Electronics & Communication/Electronics & Instrumentation; OR Post Graduate Degree in Electronics/Electronics & Tele Communication/Electronics & Communication/Electronics & Instrumentation/Computer Science/Information Technology/Computer Applications. The degree must be recognised by AICTE/UGC or the concerned regulatory body in India.

The RITES Limited Assistant Manager (IT) Recruitment 2026 selection will be conducted in three stages:
Stage 1 – Written Test (60% Weightage): There will be 125 objective type questions carrying 1 mark each for a duration of 2.5 hours. There is no negative marking. Minimum qualifying marks: 50% for UR/EWS (45% for SC/ST/OBC(NCL)/PwBD against reserved posts). PwBD candidates are eligible for compensatory time of 50 minutes. The written test will be conducted at 6 cities across India: Delhi/Gurgaon, Kolkata, Bangalore, Mumbai, Bhubaneswar, and Guwahati (all centres except Delhi/Gurgaon are tentative). Candidates must give two centre preferences at the time of online application.
Stage 2 – Document Scrutiny: Based on written test results, documents submitted by shortlisted candidates will be scrutinized by RITES Limited. Shortlisted candidates will be called for interview preceded by verification of original documents.
Stage 3 – Interview (40% Weightage): Candidates will be called for interview in the ratio of 1:6 to the number of vacancies. Weightage: Technical & Professional Proficiency – 30 marks; Personality, Communication & Competency – 10 marks. Minimum qualifying marks in interview: 60% for UR/EWS (50% for SC/ST/OBC(NCL)/PwBD against reserved posts). There are no minimum qualifying marks required in the aggregate.
