RRC NR Group D DV Merit List 2026 has been released on 20 October 2026 by the Railway Recruitment Cell, Northern Railway, for various Level-1 posts under CEN No. 08/2024. A total of 4,749 candidates have been provisionally shortlisted for Document Verification (DV) and Medical Examination. DV will begin on 2 November 2026 at five Northern Railway divisional offices. Northern Railway has released the category-wise cut-off marks for shortlisting candidates for Document Verification under CEN No. 08/2024.

The cut-off differs for general candidates, Course Completed Act Apprentices (CCAA), Ex-Servicemen and Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD).

These marks are applicable to shortlisting for DV and should not be confused with a final appointment cut-off.

How Is the RRC NR Group D DV Merit List Prepared?

According to the official cut-off notice, the method of shortlisting differs for CCAA candidates and other candidates.

For CCAA Candidates

Course Completed Act Apprentices are shortlisted using the following weightage:

• Two-thirds weightage of normalized CBT marks
• One-third weightage of scaled NCVT marks

The combined weighted score is used for the applicable CCAA shortlisting process.

For Other Candidates

Candidates other than CCAA are shortlisted for Document Verification based on normalized CBT marks, subject to applicable category-wise rules.

Document Verification will commence from 2 November 2026 and continue on the dates allotted in the official roll-number-wise list.

3. Click the DV Candidates (Roll Number wise) List link.
4. Download the official PDF.
5. Open the downloaded document.
6. Use the PDF search option to locate your 16-digit roll number.
7. Check the category, allotted DV date and venue printed beside your roll number.
8. Save the document for future reference.
9. Download the DV call letter when RRC Northern Railway activates the link.

Documents Required for RRC NR Group D DV 2026

According to the official DV notice, candidates must bring their application form, original certificates and two sets of self-attested photocopies of the applicable documents.

• Printed recruitment application form
• Original educational and technical qualification certificates
• Educational and technical marksheets
• Date-of-birth proof prescribed in the notification
• Valid original photo identity card
• Original Aadhaar card and photocopies of both sides
• CBT and PET admit card portions retained by the candidate
• SC/ST/OBC certificate in the prescribed format, if applicable
• EWS Income and Asset Certificate, if applicable
• NCVT/SCVT certificates and marksheets for CCAA candidates
• Disability certificate for applicable PwBD candidates
• Ex-Servicemen discharge certificate or applicable NOC
• NOC from the current employer for serving employees, if applicable
• Gazette notification or legal proof of formal name change, where applicable
• Other category-specific certificates and declarations specified in the notification

Photographs: Candidates must also carry six copies matching the uploaded application photograph and six copies of recent photographs, as prescribed in the official instructions.

Candidates should download the official annexures and check all applicable requirements before attending verification.

RRC NR Group D Medical Examination 2026

Candidates found eligible during Document Verification will be directed to Medical Examination at a nominated Railway Hospital.

Northern Railway advises candidates to be prepared to stay at the concerned venue for approximately three to four days.

No request for changing the medical examination venue will be entertained. Candidates must make their own arrangements for the required stay, and no TA/DA is admissible for that purpose.

• No request to change the DV venue or date will be entertained.
• Carry original certificates and two sets of self-attested photocopies.
• Carry the required photographs and original identity proof.
• Keep the relevant CBT and PET admit card portions ready.
• Follow the directions of the Document Verification Committee.
• Be prepared for Medical Examination and a possible three-to-four-day stay.
• Do not submit false information or invalid certificates.

Is RRC NR Group D DV Merit List 2026 the Final Selection List?

No. The result released on 20 October 2026 is a provisional list of candidates shortlisted for Document Verification and Medical Examination.

Inclusion in this list does not guarantee appointment. Final selection is subject to document verification, medical fitness, recruitment rules, available vacancies and other applicable conditions.

The official result is also subject to the outcome of pending court proceedings mentioned in the DV notice.
