RWF Sports Person Recruitment 2025 Overview

Eligibility Criteria

• 10 pass plus National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) granted by NCVT in the relevant Mechanical/ Electrical/Civil Engg. Trades
• 10th Pass plus ITI in the relevant Mechanical/ Electrical/Civil Engg. Trades
• 10th Pass - The selected candidate has to undergo 02 years of training
• 12th (+2 Stage) Pass or its equivalent.
• 10th Pass OR ITI OR equivalent OR National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) granted by NCVT.

 Age Limit

• Minimum Age Limit: 18 Years
• Maximum Age limit: 25 Years
• Age relaxation is applicable as per rules.

Application Fee

• The Examination Fee for all candidates: Rs. 500/-
• For candidates belonging to SC/ST/Ex-Servicemen, Minorities and Economically Backward Classes: Rs.250/-

Selection Process

• For this Recruitment, all eligible candidates will be called for the document verification/trials. Trials of the candidates will be conducted to assess their sports performance and suitability.
• After the trials, only the FIT candidates will be considered for the next stage. Candidates declared "NOT FIT" in the trials will not be assessed by the Recruitment Committee.
• The dates for trials will be notified later and published in the RWF website and will be held at Rail Wheel Factory Stadium, Yelahanka, Bangalore 560064 or at notified place.
• While all out efforts will be made to inform the candidates well in advance, the candidates are cautioned that they may have to appear in the selection trials at short notice.
• The candidates are advised to regularly check the website www.rwf.indianrailways.gov.in for information in this regard.
• Any request for change in dates/venue for trials etc shall not be entertained under any circumstances.

How to Apply

• Closing Date and Time of Applications: 29.11.2025 at 17.00 hrs.
• Closing Date and Time of Applications (for residents of North Eastern states. Assam, Meghalaya, Manipur, Arunachal Pradesh, Mizoram, Nagaland, Tripura Sikkim, Jammu & Kashmir, Lahaul & Spiti District and Pangi- Sub-Division of Chamba District of Himachal Pradesh. Andaman & Nicobar Islands. and Lakshwadeep): 05.12.2025 at 17.00 hrs.
• The notification alongwith the application form and other Annexures are available in Rail Wheel Factory website www.rwf.indianrailways.gov.in and the candidates should carefully read the instructions before filling up application form.
• Application form (Annexure-I) should be printed on a good quality, white A-4 (210 X 297 mm) size paper and the candidates should use the same format as available along with notification in the website.
• The candidate has to fill the required information in his own handwriting using blue ballpoint pen.
• The application should be filled either in English or Hindi but not in any other language.
