Eligibility Criteria
To apply for SPSC Accounts Clerk / Junior Storekeeper 2026, candidates must be local candidates of Sikkim and must fulfil all prescribed eligibility conditions - including educational qualification and age - as on the closing date of 31 July 2026. Selection Process

The selection stages are as follows:
- Written Examination - Candidates are admitted provisionally, subject to satisfying all eligibility conditions.
- Document Scrutiny - Candidates who qualify in the written examination will be called for verification of original documents. Shortlisted candidates must submit attested photocopies of all relevant documents on the dates specified by the Commission.
Admission to all stages of the examination is purely provisional. If, at any stage during the process, a candidate is found to have not fulfilled the eligibility conditions, their candidature will be cancelled without notice. No TA/DA is admissible for attending the examination.
Candidates must bring a Photo Identity Proof (Aadhaar Card, Voter's Card, or Driving Licence) along with a valid e-Admit Card at the examination centre.
Salary / Pay Scale
Selected candidates will be placed in Level-7 of the Pay Matrix of the Sikkim Sub Ordinate Accounts Service under the Finance Department, Government of Sikkim. However, during the period of Probation, Apprenticeship, or Training, pay shall be governed by Notification No. 489/GEN/DOP dated 31.10.2011.
