SMC Recruitment 2025 – Apply Online for Dentist, Physiotherapist Posts

Surat Municipal Corporation (SMC) Central Establishment (Recruitment) Department has released the recruitment notification PRR/2025-27 for 6 vacancies for Dentist and Physiotherapist posts on a contract basis. Eligible candidates holding a B.D.S. / M.D.S. or B.P.Th. / M.P.Th. qualification can apply online from 15 October 2025 to 14 October 2025. The monthly pay is Rs. 30,000 for Dentist and Rs. 19,000 for Physiotherapist. The selection process consists of Online Application submission, Document Verification, and Walk-in Interview.

SMC Dentist Selection Process

Walk-in Interview

Candidates shortlisted for the walk-in interview must report at the designated venue at their own expense. No TA/DA or payment of any kind will be provided by SMC for attending the interview.

Document Verification

During document verification, candidates must present self-attested copies along with original certificates, mark sheets, degree certificates, registration certificates, experience certificates, ID proof, and leaving certificates. Failure to present valid original documents will lead to disqualification.

2. Go to the User Registration section and complete the registration using your Email Address and Mobile Number.
3. Verify your mobile number using the received OTP and complete the account registration by creating a password.
4. Log in to your profile, fill in personal details, educational qualifications, and experience details accurately.
5. Upload scanned copies of your photograph and signature in JPG/JPEG or PNG format as per the specified dimensions.
6. Review the filled application form and submit it online before the last date.
7. Print the application form and keep it safe for future reference.

SMC Dentist Important Instructions

• Candidates must bring a complete set of self-attested photocopies of all required documents along with originals during verification.
• Registration with the respective professional council is mandatory on the date of application.
• Submitting false documents or information will result in immediate cancellation of the application and potential legal action.
• A single candidate can submit only one application for a specific post. Multiple applications for the same post will result in rejection of all except the last submitted one.
• Surat Municipal Corporation reserves the right to cancel, modify, or alter the recruitment process at any stage without assigning any reasons.
